1 - This secret could've been written by me in a big way. I avoid telling people what video games I'm playing for just that reason.

9 - Conventions rock. That is all.

12 - LOL. I only stare at crotches when someone hot is on-screen and I can't avoid it. I try to pay attention to plots.

16 - I love that caveman yaoi!! I got all upset reading that scene too.

17 - LOL! Edgeworth's fashion IS only wearable by him. You are so right.

18 - *looks down in shock* O!M!G! Where the hell did THAT come from?!

30 - You know, the movie was funny and all, but Stardust was way better as a book. All of Gaiman's specific plotpoints kind of got thrown aside in the moive.

31 - You didn't actually expect they were going to rape a guy in a video game, did you? Especially one so mainstream.

32 - I liked her hair better in her face too. It was kind of a backslap to emo kids everywhere.

33 - I've never watched Lost because there's no great slash. Too much other stuff to get through. The plot always gets spoiled for me anyway.

35 - I think the difference is that we see more of the reasons behind why Starbuck acts how she does. I mean, we don't really get anything for Kat besides that she's stressed out, but we get all of this information about Starbuck's relationship with other people and her past throughout the show. I think it adds a lot to her character. Also, she gets a lot of the great plots/episodes. So, I guess blame the creators?

38 - You rock.

40 - I know I ask this too much and there is mocking of me, but I really want to know what series this is. It seems like something I'd like a lot.

42 - LOL! Same here. I was all confused when she was a chick.

46 - I hate the way CN massacres shows. But I will say I like stuff made after the 90s, too.

51 - OMG I love you. Digimon FTW!!

52 - Way to use fanfic in the real world. You go.

53 - Ditto. About not keeping my mouth shut, I mean. I don't shut up about my lust objects, which is easy to tell. Yeah, mocking now, I know.

55 - You might be right.

57 - What series? I know I suck at life.

63 - I don't get the incest in that pic. I don't get what all the fuss is about. Seriously.

64 - Congratulations! I wish I could do that, but I fail at kanji. ;_;

67 - Unrelated, but this secret reminds me of a time when I told a Kikyo cosplayer that I hated her. I felt bad about it, and immediately I was all like, "Not you! I hate Kikyo, the character. But your costume rocks!" Yeah. That didn't save me from failing so hard there.

72 - FMA is truly awesome.

75 - What's the series? Looks good, and I suck so I'm asking.

76 - Shipping has ruined two of my friendships. It is serious business. If the other person can't not talk about it, even ater you ask her to stop, you should just make it clear that you're not willing to discuss it anymore.

78 - *scoffs* Yuri/Wolfram! I never got all the Yuri/Conrad love in the fandom. I mean, I get it, but no. Just no.

toobig 4 - You and half the fandom. Ed is just a suberbly done character. FMA is one of the few anime series that I think can really be enjoyed on more than a simple fangirl level.

Last Friends, a Japanese drama that's currently airing. 6 out of the 11 episodes are out. It's about a group of friends and the issues they deal with in relation to themselves and others. There's Michiru and her abusive boyfriend Sosuke (the two in the secret). Ruka has issues with her gender identity. Takeru has a phobia of sex, but some people think he acts the way he does because he's gay. Eri seems to like a guy that's having issues with leaving a cheating wife, but they haven't developed that much yet.

I highly recommend checking the drama out. XD

75. *de-lurks* Thought I'd jump in at random and be helpful for a change. :) The image is a fan art piece based on Prince of Tennis. (Those particular characters are Yukimura and Sanada from the Rikkai team.)

It's a fun show, if you don't mind that they aren't playing anything resembling tennis by the end. And the fandom's fun as well, though like the OP says, it's mostly all about the slash. ~~Not that I have a problem with that.~~

You know, I should have known that. But I never read the manga and I only got up to episode 20 of the anime. I mean, it was very boring. I just don't like tennis, and the yaoi wasn't even getting hinted at nearly enough considering what I had heard about the show. Sad, really.

I definitely know what you mean. It gets better later on in the series (and then most people say it gets worse again in the OVAs), but I'm not sure that it's enough to recommend it if you don't already like it. Especially in terms of the yaoi subtext... I guess that's why the fandom is all about the yaoi, since it's so vague and they can just do whatever they want with it. *laughs*

Personally, I wouldn't have kept with the series so long if it wasn't for Hyoutei and Rikkai and the more dysfunctional characters you meet after episode 50. But that's a lot to commit to watching, for a goofy shounen series about tennis. So, yeah, that's completely understandable. :)
