18. I am put off when people scream OH GOD CAN'T UNSEE EWW at certain gender combinations and not others. Belonging to a given sexual orientation certainly shouldn't=/=being disgusted by all others. It's nice to see fic writers and artists who happily dabble in a bit of anything and who can appreciate anything at least on an aesthetic or emotional level even if they aren't actually turned on by it. And there's not much defense for any writer who never writes women at all, even when they're not writing smut. When it comes to just straightforward wank material, though, some people who possess vaginas do seem to prefer porn in which they don't feature. Doesn't necessarily mean they hate or deny their own bodies; different people just engage with porn in different ways.

35. Hey, you can love a character who's flawed. Especially the arrogant and reckless ones.
But fandom really didn't like Kat? I'd have thought people would have liked her for the massive UST she had with Starbuck if nothing else. :D I was so surprised when nothing more came of that in the show itself; I thought they were doing it on purpose. And what the hell, fandom, don't you like rivalslash any more?
