And here I thought "fandom bicycle" meant "a character I like and can easily ship with pretty much anyone", not "a character who gets written like a cockslut". Did the definition change?

Yeah, I think I did see the definition changing over the time I've spent in fandom. That's when I started using "little black dress character" for like-and-ship-with-pretty-much-everyone instead of "fandom bicycle".

That definition changed about ten years ago, at least that's how long it's been since I've switched to the little black dress expression. I was already old then. *g*
