Patrick Hockstetter. The boy who taught me the meaning of the word solipsism, who smothered his own brother because he didn't think the baby belonged in "his" world. Oh God, he was fucked up.

SK used that name for an earlier character in one of his books, a doctor in Firestarter--I always wondered if that was a real person from King's past who had pissed him off somehow. Neither Patrick comes off very well!
