Re: What are your favorite portrayals of religious or mythical figures?
That makes no sense.
And I agree with you that sexy angels is just... no.
The thing with Lucifer is that nowadays he's being recast as the misunderstood rebel who wants to Find Himself. While I find some of these portrayals entertaining from a woobie perspective (and don't get me wrong, there's a lot of beautiful angst you can mine there), it's... not quite Lucifer, for me.
Then again, Lucifer is super different in Christianity and Judaism, so there's that too...
Re: What are your favorite portrayals of religious or mythical figures?
(Anonymous) 2017-03-22 02:52 am (UTC)(link)I would like to see a portrayal of Lucifer where he understands exactly what he did, and is either not sorry at all and continuing to do everything he can to undermine God and God's people-- or where he actually is sorry and tries to make amends for what he did. I've gone both those direction with demons (though not Lucifer himself) in my own writing, and it's super fun to explore.
Re: What are your favorite portrayals of religious or mythical figures?
So I can't really help you there.
