I mean, logic isn't OW fandom's strongpoint when it comes to shipping wars. You know how many times I've seen Gency attacked for being "a doctor/patient pairing" and then the Pharmercies/whatever other antis gleefully do doctor/patient kink, doctor/patient AUs and tons of her patching up? Mercy is everyone's doctor in the game! By pulling the "but doctor/patient pairs are gross :(" that means logically they shouldn't ship her with anyone.

Then they go "w-well it doesn't COUNT when we do it!"
