Embarrassing moments

I was walking out of qdoba today, a bag of takeout in one hand, a drink in the other and my keys dangling from my finger as rain drops began to fall. I just squeezed by a truck to get to my car door...

And my pants fell down. Not both legs to the ground, but one - naturally the one facing the restaurant and all its windows - to about mid- thigh, well past underwear level. I don't know if anyone saw, butit was so embarrassing.

On the plus side, even though my weight is clinging stubbornly to the 220 club, I must be losing inches.

Once in Japan I was singing a Japanese song to myself but out loud and later found out that the lyrics were super sexual. If anybody heard me, they probably thought I was drunk.
Never again. Now I always make sure I translate the songs first, if I'm not sure of the meaning.

I once complimented a stranger's nerdy/fandom related jewelry, which led to them thinking I was hitting on them (I totally wasn't, I was just excited to see a RL reference to this super obscure internet thing) and just all around awkwardness. It's been several years since it happened and I still think back on it and cringe at how dorky and lame I was.

I was sitting in my car at a red light, and had a brief moment of panic because I thought I'd left my keys at home locked inside and wasn't sure how I was going to get in when I got back. *facepalm*

I had just woken up, threw on some clothes and ran out the door so my brain wasn't fully awake yet (in retrospect, I probably shouldn't have been driving) but...yeah.

I know I'm a little late, but quick, relatively cheap fix from another person on a weight-loss journey:

Suspenders. Seriously. Saves me from having to buy new pants until I'm firmly in the next size down. And yes, it works even if you have a generous chest (just put the suspenders to the side of your breasts. I'm currently sporting DDDs).
