What would be your perfect video game?

(Anonymous) 2017-03-26 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)It is extremely specific but that would be MY perfect game, lol. I've always loved Zoo Tycoon, but adding Pokemon and more features would make it awesome. I doubt I'd get bored of it.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-26 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)(On that note, I always wanted a Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons-style Pokemon game myself.)

Base trainers are WoW-BM-Hunter type DPS characters (one Pokemon out at a time besides double battles and stuff, can carry 6 with you, etc.), and can specialize into battlers (tank/melee dps)/breeders (buffs/healers)/coordinators (buffs/debuffs/cc/support)/scientists (caster dps) etc with their own class skills ( + pick a certain type like Fighting to specialize in for bonuses maybe?) and pet de/buffs (5-sec Demoralizing Shout type things? very short duration to keep the combat active). With tradeskills like berry gathering/mining/woodcutting and cooking and accessory tailoring and Pokeball/flute/item crafting and stuff.
... with standardized IVs overall because otherwise taming and competing with farm-tamer bots would a nightmare.

(Anonymous) 2017-03-26 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)I just want Koei to keep shitting out more games in the series with no real tweaks to the gameplay and just adding more characters and stages every time, like they do with DW. I'd be happy forever if I could get a new KM every other year.

Also, Animal Crossing, but all the villagers are Pokemon.

Dragon Valley may have a fantasy feel to it, but it is only on the surface and things like cars, modern house appliances, careers and such are still there in the gameplay. It makes the town feel like it's just a ren faire town, where modern people are just playing at living in a medieval town.
My thought is a Sims game where one is just running the sim's day-to-day lives, but all the furnishings and applicances, vehicles, careers etc are all "old-style" (total accuracy not necessary, just no stand-out modernisms).
