(Anonymous) 2017-03-28 05:06 am (UTC)(link)also, speaking as an atheist myself, being irreligious is a choice, and although we do face prejudice, it's not like race or gender or not being good looking or being disabled or other things that are not a choice.

Little kids just believe what they're taught, I didn't start suspecting it was all bullshit until I got older and didn't become a full on atheist until after a lot of asking myself some intense philosophical questions and soul searching. I'd call that a choice.
