It's probably not weird at all but I currently have a huge fondness for spicy chicken wings and blue cheese sauce.

That's absolutely classic! One of America's better inventions.

Unfortunately, my roommate is absolutely repulsed by blue cheese, so when we get Buffalo wings, we go ranch instead of blue cheese. But what can you do.

I would say it's only weird on my part, because I am not very fond of spicy foods and for a long time I avoided blue cheese.

The change came when I was over at Ikea once and the food market had taste-test samples of a couple of their cheeses, one of which was blue. I started getting Castello Blue after that and had some melted with a packet of spicy wings I got in my Christmas hampers. Plain melted cheese is too runny and oily, so I experimented with mixing it into a white sauce. I have a bag of wings and some cheese in storage, but I was thinking of saving them for when I get home tomorrow.
