I wish I'd abandon it... it's become a habit for me when I'm in my daily internet zombie mode.

Plus I really want all the sprites, then I'll consider the game won and have promised myself I'd auction off everything and everyone (sprites included) for 1t and finally be free of this teenage dragon dress-up pixel game. So far I'm at 6/11. lol

I keep meaning to get back to this but I hate thinking of the time and/or treasure I'd have to spend on food in order to get my dragons ready for the coloseum and breeding again.

You might not have to spend that much on food if you really wanted to get back into it. I know most flights have food banks to help in situations like that. Or I'd be willing to help too, as I basically just hoard my food. I'm Meredith44 over there too. :)

Oh that would be really nice! I also have the same name over there.

While I was playing I was always constantly low on food because I'm always expanding my lair as often as I can and it's always filled to capacity because of all my breeding projects.

When I'm active, I exalt a lot and then kinda just let the food sit there. I mean, I have tons of dragons, but I exalt enough to keep up with that and am too lazy to sell it. I'll PM you in a bit.

i just got back into it after almost a two year break. pixel dragons are the bane of my existence.

I log in just to feed my dragons. Once in awhile I might breed a pair. And I generally gather for the festivals because I gotta collect all that loot for some OCD reason. But yeah, basically just log in and feed them every day or so because I feel oddly guilty about these pixel dragons dying on me.

Same, I like the skins but at the same time my heart hasn't been in it for a while.

I kinda feel the same about abandoning my dragons. When I got into the game, I wasn't really into the breeding/design/skin aspect, but what hooked me was the coli/dom bits because of how mindless it could be yet still make me feel sociable there.

I was enjoying alchemy too, and had just started to see the appeal of clan lore. But an irl vacation interrupted the momentum, and I kinda just dropped off it. Ah well. I like to look at my clan (and fodders) every other month.

Despite my love of dragons I couldn't get into this game, don't know why but the way it worked didn't draw me in. The artwork is lovely though so I'll give it that.

I'm definitely not into it as much as I was, but I don't know that I could ever fully drop it, as I'd hate to see my dragons starve. So, I can understand how you feel. At least the admins have said canonically that they don't die; they just hibernate.

I kinda want to go back to it, but it's so grindy, and I get frustrated with games that require you to log on several days in a row to make progress. (It's the same reason I kinda gave up on Animal Crossing, tbh. If I can't walk away for a while and come back, then it's too much work.)

I just wish Animal Crossing would stop giving me bedhead when I want to get back to it.

That's one aspect...I hate going back and seeing you've lost villagers. :( and everyone being mad that you were away.

Yeah my interest dropped when my favorite villager moved out. But occasionally I still feel like checking in.

Replying to the both of you, but here's a tip for the future: If you pick up the game again and decide you'd like to take another break from it, wait until a villager asks you to move and tell them no. Then stop playing THAT DAY (ie. don't turn the game on the following day). Telling the villager no will trigger a flag that prevents anyone from getting the idea to move until the next day the game loads, so you can safely stop playing the game without anyone leaving on you.

Though I still wish I didn't have to keep telling my favorites not to move every once in a while when I do play regularly.
