I assumed the latter. Esp "my first son" as opposed to "my child, if it's a boy" or w/e.

They could just as easily be pregnant and already know what the sex is, though?

I wonder if their partner would be totally okay with them naming their child after a character in genre TV show. Not that I don't enjoy SPN, but it doesn't carry the same gravitas as naming your kid, say, Atticus.

I did, too. I think mostly because the way the secret was phrased reminds me of how I always said what I would possibly name my future children. That's not gonna happen now, but at least my fandom-related picks probably wouldn't raise too many eyebrows.

Erika is definitely safe (female version of the Phantom of the Opera's chosen name to not be painfully obvious), though Darien (yes, my first exposure to "Sailor Moon" was the DiC dub) might be iffy, tbh. :p
