I haven't seen any of these movies, but I think the term you (and other commenters) are looking for is "Secondhand Embarrassment"? It's a sensation of extreme discomfort/embarrassment/shame/etc on another's behalf, and is almost entirely the reason I don't watch live-action, ESPECIALLY comedies.

It seems to rely too heavily on the viewer looking down and possibly laughing at the people being miserable, and as someone who's been humiliated and laughed at a lot combined with being empathic, it's an instant end to the movie/show for me when cringe humor becomes involved. Frankly, I'm surprised I was able to stay in my seat for The Graduate, The Proposal, and Due Date; they were all utter nightmares because of secondhand embarrassment.
