Anything by Jude Devereaux featuring the Montgomery family; masculine men of the Highlands who are rakishly likeable but don't understand teh wimmins until they forcibly marry some fiery maiden that teaches them what true love is through passionate fucking. Esp "Highland Velvet" and all the ones in that branch.

I have heard Catherine Coulter is big on this but I haven't read anything by her.

Honestly, look for 80s era romance novels, it was a big thing back then.
