Yep, Gimp. It's free and relatively easy to use.

But I still find it kind of awkward. I used to be better in Photoshop (well, an old version of Photoshop) but I changed computers and don't have that anymore. Gimp is a lot more awkward, but definitely one of the best out there for being free.

I don't know if I just need to update or something, but I hate how awkward switching fonts is, for example. You have to specifically type the font you want, rather than scroll through a list.

Hm, that's strange. I can either scroll through a list or type the name of the font I want to use. I've never had an issue with this in all the years and devices I've had GIMP

I feel like mine USED to be better, but now, the text edit tool only is in a small, almost see-through like pop-up box when I am actually editing the text. And there's no way to scroll through all the fonts unless I start typing. Like if I type "h", all the fonts that start with "h" will appear in a drop-down, but if I'm just casually looking it's so annoying.

Also, outlining text is a much bigger pain than how it was in the old photoshop program I used (where you could just use Stroke). And once you outline the text, you can't edit it anymore... But again, can't complain, it's free.

Oh I see. I'm not on my computer rn so I can't check, but you can scroll through fonts by using tool options instead. You know, in the window with all the tools? I think by default the bottom half is only the colour palette, by there should be an option to make tool options visible too. Something like that ^^;

Ha it is 200% possible I just don't know what I'm doing. Lol I suck at adapting to changes in user interface. Next time I'm making secrets, I'll see if I can change it! Thanks!
