Re: What are your least favorite unrealistic movie things?

Mine is so silly in comparison to everyone else's but food fights in high school and middle school. In my school, if one kid had thrown food at someone else the teachers would have swooped down on them immediately, and if it did escalate to the point that it does in the movies, we'd be punished. At the very least, we'd be the ones cleaning the cafeteria.

There was actually a food fight at my high school. Everyone who they could prove was involved was pretty harshly punished, but it wasn't super hard for it to escalate quickly. (We had a large student body and a big cafeteria though.)

Same.

Unfortunately, I wasn't in that lunch period to witness it....

I only saw one food fight in school. I think it might've been in junior high. It DID escalate like it does in movies. It was huge, too. There was no way to tell combatants apart from noncombatants, so the administration - shockingly and uncharacteristically - chose not to punish everyone collectively.

I wonder why no one is concerned with getting food stains on their favorite shirt or getting gunk in their hair.
