Re: Tattoos
(Anonymous) 2017-04-01 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)I'm very pale and get sunburned easily, so if it's similar to that feeling it could be doable.
Re: Tattoos
Good luck!

My blue jay was from a bird calendar, the bee was a random online image. You just need to find clear, big pictures.
My abdomen, again, was Mucha; a woman's face, and art nouveau inspired flowers and abstract color design.
My next piece, in memory of my father, will be airplanes, because that was his first love. Specifically, this image, except the biplanes have been redesigned as Beechcraft stagger-wing planes, since that was his favorite: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e9/WW1Immelmann.png
Basically - just look at art, at images, at photos. If you know what you want (birds, a cat, abstract art), just start Googling. Back in 'the day', when i first started getting tattooed, and the SO first started doing them, we had masses of art books and nature magazines for people to look through for ideas. Now it's mostly just the internet.
Googling for 'tattoo designs' will mostly show you pictures of other people's tattoos, which is kind of hit and miss, and who wants a tattoo that's a copy of someone else's? (Unless you're going for a pokemon or something, in which case, a good artist can still make it unique and 'yours').
Re: Tattoos
(Anonymous) 2017-04-01 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)I have a few ideas of things I like. Wouldn't there be copyright issues if I just found an online pic? Or is the idea to find an image and then the artist modifies it?
Re: Tattoos
Pretty much no companies or artists have attempted to sue over someone having a copyright tattoo, though if anyone ever did, my money would be on Disney.
