Re: Make up question

Makeup is pretty much my main obsession!

I work in a conservative office setting so I have to do the fresh faced natural look, too.

If you don't have a lot to cover, I would try a BB or CC cream instead of a foundation. If you have oily skin, you can use a powder over it (I personally have more combination skin and don't feel right without powder, but a lot of people feel like they don't need it unless they're really oily, you can try with and without and see what you think).

As for blush, I would say just try out some different colors until you find one you like. I don't agree with a lot of the makeup "rules" that says you're supposed to only wear certain colors based on your skintone/hair/eye color. If you like how something looks on you, I say go for it.

Other than those things, I would make sure your eyebrows are groomed (you can use a pencil or gel if you need to fill them in a bit), use a bit of mascara, then a lip product of some sort. You can do anything from a lipstick in a shade close to your natural lipcolor, to a slightly glossy tinted lipbalm, to just a clear lipbalm...whatever you feel most comfortable with.

Here are a couple sites to check out for some more detailed information:

https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeupAddiction/
https://www.specktra.net/

You can post the same thing you did here, and will get a lot more responses since they're specifically geared toward that subject.

There's also a ton of makeup stuff on YouTube. Just search "natural makeup look" or "everyday makeup look" or something along those lines, and you should find a bunch of tutorials that will show you step by step what to do.

Look for someone named emilynoel83. She's really good at explaining things and uses a lot of more affordable products.

Sorry this isn't more helpful, I've gotta leave in a couple minutes, but I'll check back later if you have more questions!
