Pepperoni rolls are a West Virginia only food. I grew up having them all the time in school lunches and not thinking anything of it, until this year when I was on a wiki walk and ended up on the page for them somehow and found out it's only West Virginia.

Shame too, they're delicious and I need to drive to the border to get one from a gas station in WV soon.

It also frustrates me how the stereotype is all kids are super picky and will only eat blandy bland food like chicken nuggets, hotdogs and boxed mac and cheese. My mother raised us to eat what we were given (pretty much a necessity anyways seeing as we didn't have much money to waste by not eating the food she bought), and to eat stuff like broccoli (which I still love).

Eh, pepperoni rolls show up in SE Ohio too, though to be fair that region and WV sees a lot of back and forth traffic across the border.

I was a very non-picky eater as a kid, I loved a lot of different kinds of foods.
