I never gave this much thought, but you really have made a good observation, OP. I have always found Fassbender attractive and talented, but he's never stood out to me as an actor I really enjoy watching or even having silly fantasies about. It's not that I don't like him, he just...never stood out, and I understand why now.

Which reminds me, there was an article on Buzzfeed about how Hollywood actually only has 9 actors because so many of them look alike. I'll grab the link.

If Hollywood is cloning men, they need to let us have this technology so I can have my own hot celeb,

I don't think of myself as having really excellent facial recognition, but compared to whoever put together that Buzzfeed article, I feel like some kind of facial recognition genius. I honestly don't think any of the actors in that article look more than a little bit alike. They have certain similarities, sure, but I can't imagine ever mistaking one of them for another, even for a second.
