If you're going to talk about kinks in fiction (which you seemed to be, at any rate, given the examples), please specify a bit more - there's kind of a difference between talking about fictional disabilities in regard to kink/fic/whatever else and asking in general what disability (real or fictional) is hottest.

That seems an odd distinction. People talking about rape here are assumed to be talking about fictitious rape unless otherwise specified, I suspect Mr tolls issue was more about who was saying it Rath er than how it was said, but far enough. The issue is that what you were doing was fetishizing disabilities. Like, I don't think there's really an argument you can make here. It's like the textbook definition of fetishizing disability. And doing that is bad.

My disagreement is that fetishization is not bad. I not inherently. Like I think if you go up to a lady in a wheelchair and ask to sniff her wheels, you are on the wrong side of the good/bad device, but flapping to Barbara Gordon doing pull ups while strapped into her chair, sure I can buy that that's fetishizing, but I don't feel no guilt, not shame, but I'm hurting no-one. I don't see that it's bad

I really feel like a lot of this outrage is "because its Waco." And I mean sure, he can be an aasshole, but it's not like there have never been long threads here about how people get turned on by amputations, wheelchairs and disfigurements.

I don't remember that happening. if it happened the same it happened in this example, I'd say that was also bad. But it's pretty hard to overlook or ignore it when it's in the actual title of a thread.

I vaguely recall that, in one of the "what's your weird or shameful kink" type threads, and it was real life amputees.

This thread kinda sounds like an issue of very bad wording/tone to me. Plenty of people have a kink (in fiction) for blindness and stuff, or at least I see AUs with things like that a lot.

The problem was in asking "what's the sexiest disability" like it was fetishizing actual disabled people but the actual characters talked about in the thread were Daredevil.

Well no, that isn't true. People talking about that here aren't assumed to mean fictious and I had to delete a thread the other day which asked people if they "had experienced non consensual sex" before.

Let's make some enemies! So I just watched the 2016 film "Hush" and I don't know if it's just because the actress in it was EXACTLY my type, but I gotta say I'm digging the deaf mute thing. So yeah, what do you consider to be the Sexiest disability, and what opened your eyes to it?

Yes, but you could argue the same of non-con, dub-con, sexual slavery, etc, etc, and people discuss those kinks here too.

You know I'm not trying to be rude by ignoring your other comments, it's just that I know neither of us let stuff go, and typing is a plan in the balls right now, so I'm just trying to spare us both a longer drawn out night than we would otherwis to have.

BUT I don't think it's fair to make assumptions about whether I know or see any difference. Literally everything I fetishize to is fictional. Everything. The only thing sexual in my life that is not fictional is my girlfriend who is either disabled in an obvious way (I doubt even I could fetishize IBS) nor is she an interracial MILF pony being donkey punched.

The majority of my fantasy life is fictional.
