How will Brexit impact the Premier League and/or the Eurocup?

Funnily enough, I Googled it and couldn't find anything. Any British person out there who can explain this to an American fan?

ahahahahahahahahaha that's your concern?

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet, a lot of it is going to have to shake out in negotiations. It might make it harder for EPL teams to get visas for foreign players, but I don't think it should affect CL or Euro stuff much at all - there's already teams from outside the EU who play in both competitions.

OP here. LOL I didn't mean to come off insensitive. I have been following Brexit as well as I can and I understand how messed up the whole situation is and I feel terrible for those caught in the middle (so basically...every one). I remember seeing on Last Week Tonight where one woman from Portugal was concerned about it because she has been living in London for years, having set up a life and a family, but was worried that she may be separated from her daughter because her daughter was born in Britain. =(

...but earlier this week at work, the Premier League popped up in my head and I figured there wasn't much information on it since it's probably one of the least important/life impacting things. Thanks for the response!

She might not be separated from her daughter. The UK doesn't have a US style anchor baby law and children born in the UK have no automatic right to UK citizenship. What I'm trying to say is that she and her daughter might both be deported together. So, happy ending?

Nobody knows yet. At very least there will be more redtape involved with visa restrictions and so on.

Its just another part of Mad Terry's clusterfuck, which she is trying to distract from by shouting about war with Spain if they reinstate the old Spanish border checkpoints on Gibraltar.

And of course both Brexit and Gibraltar are a handy distraction from the fact she has just cut disability payments to over a hundred thousand people. Yeah, that'll help people get well. This is what happens when you put even Anglican Puritans in power.

The international leagues and cups shouldn't be affected, as they have nothing to do with the EU. But I suppose there will be new rules for European players in the PL? I mean, aside form the sports side of things these players will need to get visas and maybe other paperwork if they want to live and work in Britain. But that will probably be taken care of by the clubs, so I don't think the Brexit has all that much visible impact on football.
