35. Is that Narnia? I only ask because that's the only fantasy series with a movie coming out about now. And no matter what it is, WAY to be immature. "LOLZ anyone who doesn't like this is a dumb Harry Potter fan"?

I have more to say about Narnia and why I insult it, but I want to be sure of what it is before I go off on a tangent.

I was fine with the Christian allegory when it stayed cutesy and inspiring and Yay!God'sALion! in the first few books but then it all went downhill. The Horse and His Boy? Narnia will win because they're right and they're pretty and their god is better than the one those dirty Arabs Calormenes follow! The Last Battle? You Pevensie former children can all come here and not even care that you're leaving your family and friends behind and that your SISTER can't come with you just because she decided to be a teenage girl.

And of course the secret had to be Twilight, but I've heard that isn't well written either, so a fan of it bashing anyone who doesn't like it for being a Harry Potter fan is kind of...ironic.

With the Susan thing... there's a theory that she just didn't die in the same train accident as the rest of them, and that when she does die, she will be welcome because "once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen of Narnia."

I prefer that interpretation, myself.

Agreed. Also, I seem to remember the parents being specifically mentioned in the last few pages as simply being in Earth!Heaven instead of Narnia!Heaven, presumably because they'd never gone to Narnia during their lives and would have no connection to the place.

If I don't believe in that interpretation, a part of me will die inside and my childhood will be ruined. I loved Narnia as a child, completely oblivious to the religious aspect, but then I grew up and it makes me sad :(

And I was upset about Susan not welcome to Narnia. I like the theory about the train accident and she didn't die while the others did. I like Susan as a character, too. If they make a movie for the last book, they might go with the different interpretation. Hopefully.

Yeah, the books are sexist and racist. I looove the movies, though. They are different than the books. I also think the books are kind of...boring, just the way that they're written. The one thing that bothered me about the new movie is that they added a romance between Caspian and Susan because it's not in the book. I'm really curious as to why they put an added romance in the movie.
