Well, me either. It's kind of a joke, but it's just that I don't see the appeal so much so that it's truly baffling to me how people LIKE her. Figured I'm make an over-the-top statement about it.

I can understand why they like the IDEA of Bela, cause that could have worked, but the character that we were given?

Well, I honestly have no idea who that woman is, or why people hate her but I still think the idea of spies~~ is a little far fetched. Please, feel free to elucidate more on that.

Why certainly!

In Supernatural fandom, it's pretty well-known that people from the network and the show itself involve themselves in our online antics. I mean, Supernatural is not a huge show, so the family is pretty small.

If you're unfamiliar, the show's basic premise is about two brothers, hunting evil. In the third season, the network signed up for 2 new "lead" females. One, Ruby fits better with the show (in my opinion, obviously), because she's a demon, and the show right now is pretty heavily involved with demons. Bela, on the other hand, steals magical objects and sells them. She is just a pain in the butt every week. There's really no mystery as to whether or not she'll end up helping the main characters (unlike Ruby).

I PERSONALLY don't know anyone who likes her, and it's not just because she's a female (like others would have people believe). Which is why I jokingly think it's someone trying to convince people to like her.

Oh that show... yeah I refuse to watch it. All I know is the people here hate the women folk on that show and wished the brothers had lots of sex. I doubt it is somebody from the network, it is likely to be a bunch of over zealous fans.

I'm in the minority, I don't hate the women folk (unless they're retarded like Bela), and sort of WISH they could find love, but their characters and fandom at large wouldn't let them, and I actually am completely squicked at the thought of them having sex.

I think I just have an overactive imagination.

I'll never understand why female characters are hated on more than male characters.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I also really loathed Gordon. He is regarded by most fans as "love to hate" but I HATE hated him. He was a hunter and was after one of the brothers.

... but you're right, I wasn't as vocal about hating him. I hadn't discovered fandomsecrets yet hahah

Sounds like he was just there to be hated on :/

I've been in fandom (mostly) for about 8 years, but I've only been here for a few months. People are just as vocal about hating characters, wherever you go.

I should clarify/narrow it down. I've been on LJ for a few years, but only have been watching spn for almost a year. I had NO IDEA about fandom, really. I'm pretty out of touch and naive. I did silly things like enjoy watching the show and not worry about wank or haters, or whatever.

I guess you'll only know what the majority opinions (or any popular thing) in fandoms are if you seek that fandom out and become active in it. I was in fandoms for about 4 years before I joined LJ. I wanted to join but it was still invite only so I stuck to lurking for ages. I joined up nearly 4 years ago to the day dhjfdk anyway it got me heavily involved in fandom, but then I quit everything about a year ago and went back to enjoying my manga, anime, music and tv shows without worrying about the wank and the haters and the crazy fans.

I have liked all the females on SPN, except for Cassie Jo and Bela.

While I like Sam and Dean getting it on for fanfiction, no way in Hell would I want them to do it as canon, cause...well theres a huge ass difference from the show itself and the fandom.

I didn't mind Cassie. Jo I just thought was badly executed.

Even in fanfic. I've never been into it. ... or RPS either. I just don't want to picture them having sex.

I just think its hot.

Jo was terribly executed, it was like a watching a child jump around and try to act tough around the adults.
