I came here to say this.

If you enjoy the writing, at least give a kudos, OP. You can do it anonymously if you want, but it's bullshit to withhold positive feedback on an author who worked hard on a story that you enjoyed.

If you find a fic you like and reach the end to see, say, an author's note bashing your OTP and fans of said ship (so you, basically), I can't imagine you'd be feeling an awful lot of good will toward that author at that point. I'd be like, "Well fuck you too, I'm outta here."

I mean, if the author is a decent person. But OP is saying for openly anti people.

Like, I know some people that ship my nOTP and they are cool and decent people. But there are also anti people who make it their goal to bash my OTP and shippers and I don't feel obligated to do shit for them.
