I am enjoying the series, but it has nothing on the Megan Follows version. I love that series so, so much. Like, seriously. But this one, I try not to make too many comparisons, right? It has its own good points.

But Anne in this one is so whiny and is such an omg traumatised!orphan. I like the actress, I think she is doing a fine job, it's just the writing. I always thought Anne was strong and determined but this Anne doesn't seem so, despite her "girls can do anything" mantra. She always seems to be crying about something. I don't like that much.

I do like the casting for Matthew and Marilla, but aside from them, I'm not feeling much love for anyone else.
