Guessing you're trolling, but Digimon's only similarity with Pokemon is the "mon" in the name. The franchise has its roots in tamagotchi and the various seasons of the anime focuses on a group of kids trying to save both the real and virtual worlds with the help of their monster friends.

Main male protagonists usually have spiky hair, though, so you're not incorrect there.
