"Little Sparrow" for one specific example

Yeah. "Little Sparrow" in the Genyatta ship fandom.

I don't hate it, at all, I'm ambivalent about it, it's more just one of those things where you see it everywhere and I thought it had some kind of canon basis (not exactly from Zenyatta to Genji, just something where Genji is called "sparrow" at least) and then you find out it's just a random fanon thing that's based off of really flimsy connections and it kinda stuck.

Oddly enough I have zero issues with believing Zenyatta would call Genji "my love" or "my dear Genji", that sort of thing. It's just the "sparrow" that throws me mildly.


As for my general feelings, I can take or leave them most of the time unless one is really inspired or really dumb, and then it's a love/hate thing respectively.
