I actually really like Syd. On the flipside, I find Kerry very uninteresting, because she is literally there to be a part of Cary. Oh, hey, how about this nerdy guy and ... his female self just... kicks people's asses. That is literally all she is there for.

Literally no one really has a backstory outside of David.
