I'm right there with you, OP. I find the first few seasons really relaxing. Once it gets less into MOW and more into cosmology, it gets more stressful to me.

I agree. I've watched the first three seasons several times, but the last few only once or twice.

I feel this way about Antiques Roadshow. The world is safe amd good when fussy gentlemen are telling the common folk their grandma's old coffee pot is worth tens of thousands of dollars.
