Eeh, I kind of know the feeling. I did a few metas in my fandom and more popular blogs picked them up and absolutely wall of texted why I was WRONG because it contradicted their headcanon. And they had tons of followers liking and reblogging their 'correction' and praising them for showing me up so hard and how awesome it was.

And I'm a wimp. I just stopped posting. It wasn't even anything really serious it was something like "I think character X is better with long range weapons than with short range because he tends to go for them first in tough situations." But oh holy balls you guys, you'd think I'd suggested that the character was only sexually aroused by underage flatworms.
