Yeah, Sherlock is one of the fandoms with the most A/B/O fics, and only 2.4 percent of Johnlock fics on AO3 are A/B/O.

Maybe smaller fandoms have more A/B/O fics proportionally? Either that or OP's dislike of A/B/O is causing her to have an inflated sense of its prevalence. My money's on that it's a bit of both.
