Agreed. You'd be shocked how many people who get those tattoos agree with you within a couple years of getting them. All that money wasted on shitty ink to say nothing of the shame and then they're scrambling to cover it or burn it off and paying at least twice as much to hide their poor decision.

I got my first tattoo at 18, I now have five, three are fandom related and I'm 37.

Never regretted them for an instant.
