Maths in general and I can't whistle or ride a bike.

Oh right, I never learned to ride a bike either. I've always been terrified of falling from any height so the idea of removing the training wheels never appealed to me.

I did learn and I could ride sort-of as a kid, but I forgot all that information and now I'm most likely to fall off. (I was never any good at turning corners as a kid anyway so it's not something I was good at even when I could ride one).

I'm in my 20s and learned to ride a bike last year :0 People were very amused to see a fully-grown woman sitting on a bike and pushing herself along with her toes

I just can't get used to "maths." Given how many British fandoms I'm a part of, a lot of British English words have become my words. But maths still just sounds wrong to me.

Heh. 'Math' sounds wrong to my Australian ears. Mathematics has the 's' anyway! :P

'Math' doesn't look or sound right to me either so it goes both ways. :P

THIS.

I honestly prefer a lot of the British words/terms for things, but "maths" has never stopped sounding strange and awkward to me. Like if someone were to say "I'm going to get the casts of my arm today" but it was just one cast, or "Everyone saw my underwear because my zippers broke."
