(Anonymous) 2017-04-27 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)In a somewhat similar vein, does anyone remember a shitty oughties vampire movie called The Breed? Starred Highlander's Adrian Paul, plus Bokeem Woodbine and Bai Ling, set in a dystopian universe where vampires lived in ghettos? It's sort of a weird alternate history vampire noir thing, and I love it a lot.

(Anonymous) 2017-04-28 01:55 am (UTC)(link)I haven't written this much fic in years. I'm not even posting it anywhere ('cause a lot of them involve complex AUs, tbh), and I'm perfectly content with that; I'm loving just creating for it. I'm even trying to get better at drawing so I can do cute doodles of them. Something about the whole package just really nailed me right in the heart, even with all its faults.

That level of examination brought it home for me.
