Is a band-off worse than how it sounds? Why would you get arrested for holding one? And did your director lose his/her job?

It was basically us playing fight songs and little snippets as the crowd was leaving. & Yeah, he left because of it, but I don't remember if it was by his own free will or actually being fired.

Thanks :( I left band after that (mainly because I went to trade school for half days) so I hope he's doing better wherever he is now.

Yeah, I'm confused by this too. I mean, after playing the songs were there actual fights? Or like weapons attached to your trombone?
