I often have headcanons where modern set fandoms take place in the past of the same universe as Star Trek. Harry Potter, certainly (and I love the idea of magic and wizards and witches still existing in the Trek universe).

I like to think that Star Wars takes place in the same universe, just in a different galaxy. Maybe at the same time as Battlestar Galactica? Or maybe just the Doctor visits that universe a lot?

And since Tolkien is intended to be the past of our Earth, that makes it somewhat easy to say that other fandoms are in the future in the same universe. Though the magic system in Tolkien is very different, which can make it complicated.
