I play around with The Walking Dead being the ancient history of Asura's Wrath.

- Walking Dead, apocalypse, people die everywhere. Even people who weren't bitten become zombies when they die, which means it's in all humans, which points to it being some dumb reactivated gene.
- Asura's Wrath, some time in the past the Earth's immune system rose up and endlessly attacked "the civilization that monopolized (the Earth)."
- Asura's Wrath, demigods are descendants of genetically altered humans.

As in they removed the zombie gene because fuck that.
