Working Class/ Immigrant Life in England 1890s-WW1/1920s

(Anonymous) 2017-04-28 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Hi! OP. I'd like to write a very involved fic (AU) that takes place during the turn of the century in England. The goal is the Edwardian Era, but I like the general 1890s - 1920s as a time (so much was going on socially, economically, etc.)with many possibilities.

As far as how the rich lived, I'm sure I could find some books. But I'm more interested in how the working class and immigrants lived, as well as what race relations were like during that time.

Any suggestions (besides Googling) ? Books? Articles?

Much obliged!

If you have more specific questions later, you can ask at little-details on lj. It's definitely still active and very useful. My sister is the mod actually, ha ha. They take anonymous comments if you want.
