I don't want a jealousy plot, but I'd love some relationship conflict, even if it's just a subplot. If only to get rid of the part of the fandom that screams homophobia at anyone who proposes that their relationship might not be one hundred percent sunshine and rainbows all the time. That's right, it's homophobic to write about a gay couple arguing over who does the dishes. Because domestic squabbles are for the heteros only.

Maybe I hang out in different corners of fandom or something, but all I've ever seen from people that adore their relationship is that they do have conflict, and handle it like a mature couple and move on. I'd think most people would be thrilled for more of that.
