It's finally gorgeous here (we had a rainy miserable week!) and so I'll be enjoying this nice weather. Tonight, I went out to dinner with my parents, brother and my cousins are visiting from Virginia for the weekend.

Tomorrow I'm going to clean my house and prep since I've decided to host a Star Wars Day party on May 4th and make it really cute, so I'm writing down all the food I need to go buy. And then mom and i are going to a small shopping party at someone's house.

Not sure what Sunday will bring but, I need a bit of a rest (I've gone out every night but Monday this week)

It was gorgeous here for ONE DAY. :C

Oh that party sounds fun! What kind of food are you making? Some Star Wars themed stuff I would assume.

So far the menu includes:

Death Star meatballs (debating doing both tomato sauce and gravy meatballs)
Yoda shaped mozzarella sticks from scratch
Tie fighter cracker and cheese
Tie fighter pigs in a blanket
Second Death Star biscuits (they're incomplete) with Millenium Falcon shaped garlic and onion butter

Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and Stormtrooper chocolates
Various shapes of cookies (I have two sets of Star Wars cookie cutters)
A Sarlacc pit bundt cake
And just some regular cupcakes using Star Wars cupcake wrappers

plus I have a Darth Vader chip and dip bowl and R2-D2 cupcake cups so I might serve something in those.

Oh and I'm making lightsaber skewers, using cocktail stirrers and black tape. I also went to Party City today and got Star Wars plates, napkins, and cups.

I'll put a Star Wars movie for background and we'll sit around and play some games.

Damn, that sounds delicious.
