I'm in fandom to relax, so I don't really give a shit about your politics and I honest to god don't believe that shipping or racebending is in anyway shape or form actual political activism.

Yeah, I've heard all the arguments before. "the personal is political so" (haha no this shit affects me too that's why I don't want hear anymore about it especially from idiots who have a half-assed understanding of what's actually going on) and "fandom used to really bigoted" (maybe, but this obsession with ideological purity and lack of understanding that fiction =/= reality puts actual Crusades to shame)
