I've been thinking about writing a Genyatta fic that delves into the darker, more realistic side of this a little more. There's potential for a LOT of really volatile emotions to draw from, and it would be interesting to explore Genji's relationship to his increasingly cyberized body (I'm really curious what eventually made Genji get the mostly-full cyberization, especially considering his hatred of his new body for awhile) and working through his emotions about Hanzo trying to kill him.

I feel like some parts of fandom might accuse me of bashing Hanzo, even though I think in order to explore it in a realistic way you have to delve into just what a monstrous act that was. The potential for angry fan stanning makes me nervous to start writing it though!
