i was just afraid it was going to be a this movie saved me secret, or something equally gag-worthy.
Oh heavens, no. XD That movie gave me so many irrational alien-based fears it borders pathetic. XD

i was young, and we hardly ever went to the movies, and the first time that thing came on screen, i screamed, and i spent the rest of the movie clinging to my mother's arm and watching from the corner of my eye. =p that, and the scene when the scientists came into the house in the bunny suits... ~_~ bah.

I never saw it at the theatre (thank goodness, that would've been a mortifying memory) but my mother bought me the movie and popped it into the VCR - the first time they showed that little bugger I screamed so loudly mom had to turn off the TV.
When I was about nine or ten, she somehow sat me through the whole thing, but I was shivering the whole time. (AND ZOMYGOD, THE SCIENTISTS. DX)

i dunno if i remember being mortified. i remember wanting to leave but everyone else wanted to see, so... i was stuck. =X eek, such persistence... T___T *shudders* horrible little pile of melted flesh. geh.
