As a full-time resident of the toku fandom trash dumpster, I both approve of and am intrigued by your opinions. Especially Kyoryuger vs. Dino Charge. I personally feel that Kyoryuger gets more praise than it deserves and Dino Charge is unfairly vilified, but in the parts of the fandom I frequent, a flat-out "Dino Charge > Kyoryuger" is a VERY unpopular opinion. Anon, you seem the kind of person I'd like to sit down with and overanalyze toku over coffee.

I mean, I really liked Dino Charge. It was super cute. I felt it was solidly put together, had consistent characters who were allowed to grow and develop as the show went on, and then it had a completely insane ending.

Which is not to say that I didn't like Kyoryuger - it's one of the series that I like more than several others - but I felt that Dino Charge was the better piece of fiction.

One opportunity I thought Dino Charge kind missed, though, was even though I thought Koda was fucking adorable, we could have had Vandal Savage as the Blue Ranger, but no, we got Encino Man. :(
