I don't think this about being canon though? it's about people shipping things and thinking it makes them good? tbh I don't quite get it. I mainly see posts like this, claiming people think their lgbt allies for liking slash ships, rather than the shippers going oh yes! look at me! an ally for all lgbt folk!
