Aragorn's role as a healer is prioristised far and above his role as a warrior and leader of armies. Unlike the movies, Aragorn summoning the army of the dead and turning up at the Pelennor Fields isn't what proves him to be king. It's his embodiment of the maxim "the hands of the king are the hands of a healer, and so shall the rightful king be known". To be a good king is to be a healer in Tolkien's world.

yeah but that's not inherently an argument against it being sexist, is it?
