Fair enough OP. I have a few fav authors who I enjoy writing Jason but in the last year or so it feels like the way ppl write him and the Batfamily in general have changed, (it's subtle if anything.)

I like fics where Jason is redeemed or the Batfamily act like an actual family but it has to be tangibly IC. Lately, everyone is just having heart to hearts (with zero complications) and just blurting their feelings all over the place (show don't tell ignored.)

Idk if it's nu52 or rebirth or simply woobiefication further distancing the characters from their canonselves.
