I was on a power rangers kick a while and I definitely feel like some of them are hard to watch if you're not a kid/don't have nostalgia glasses on.

I don't think MMPR is the hardest to rewatch, it has some good basic entertainment.

I weirdly think some of the later power rangers have stronger stories though, but it depends on the generation (and I haven't seen every one so this is just an opinion.)

Aw, come on. PRiS was cheesy and adorable. (And had its cringeworthy moments, to be fair, but every series in the franchise has its cringeworthy moments.) It was super super cute. Besides, it had one of the most fun villains in Astronema and one of the best finales in the franchise.

Personally, I find MMPR's treatment of Bulk and Skull to be way harder to watch than anything in PRiS. Yeah, the two of them were assholes, but the way the Rangers treated them was also kind of awful.

I actually agree. Space is quite overrated by the fandom. The only rangers I thought were interesting/had any charisma were TJ and Cassie. The finale was epic of course, but also lacking because this team had no history with Zordon or the previous villains, or even really much of a relationship with Bulk and Skull.

I'm looking forward to Shout Factory releasing Megaranger, so that more fans end up realizing that a sizable chunk of In Space was just translated sentai episode scripts.
