Same.

I respect your opinion, but I strongly disagree. Dory does not have the character growth and heart that Nemo has. Nemo has this drive that Dory doesn't have, an urgency to find Marlin's son before something bad happens; Dory is trying to find her parents and home but it's been so long that the driving force just isn't there.

I can watch Nemo over and over but after two viewings, Dory got old. Finding Dory is a wonderful sequel, and a great movie in its own right, but it can't touch Finding Nemo.

Meanwhile, Marlin made his own problems because he refused to believe his son could do anything on his own, and basically thought he had to protect his son from everything ever, to the point of never leaving their home. Nemo doesn't really have character growth. Marlin just becomes more rational.

I agree. Finding Dory was cute. Finding Nemo was dull. I'm not a big fan of Pixar movies at all and can never see why people are so enraptured by them.

I really disagree, but to each their own. I really wanted to love it, but Finding Dory just felt too cluttered with so many new characters and an all over the place storyline.

Two watches was way more than enough for me.

Finding Nemo is a classic and I'm watching it again rn.

I mostly think the movie could have been so much better without that superfluous car-chase in the end.
